Dried pine needles are an aromatic ingredient that imparts resinous-citrus freshness with forest and natural notes to beverages. Thanks to their essential oils and vitamin C content, they add a herbal, refreshing character to beers, meads, and spirits.
They work well in forest-style beers, farmhouse ales, sours, non-alcoholic beers, as well as in meads and liqueurs. In distillates, they are perfect for creating unique herbal spirits, such as gins.
Usage in Brewing:

Add to the wort during the last 10–15 minutes of boiling,

Cold infusion or maceration,

Excellent when blended with juniper, fir needles, elderflowers, or oak bark.
