LAFASE™ XL G-AMYL is a high-quality alpha-amylase enzyme designed for the breakdown of starch into simple sugars that can be easily fermented by yeast. Used in distillation, it significantly enhances alcohol production efficiency by improving starch conversion in raw materials such as grains, potatoes, and corn.

Dosage in distillation:
🔹 Standard dose: 0.2–0.5 g per 1 kg of starch (or starchy raw material).
🔹 Operating temperature: Optimal in the range of 60–90°C, with maximum activity at 70–80°C.
🔹 pH range: Optimal at 5.0–6.5.
🔹 How to use: The enzyme is added during the liquefaction of starch in the mashing process. After heating the raw material, thoroughly mix the product and maintain the recommended temperature for 30–60 minutes.
