HOW TO USE THE DEVICE?

1. Open the prism cover.
2. Use the pipette to place about 3 drops of liquid on the prism surface.
3. Close the cover, pressing it lightly to spread the liquid evenly and remove air bubbles.
4. Wait about 30 seconds for the liquid and prism to reach the same temperature.
5. Point the device towards the light and look through the eyepiece.
6. Read the value from the appropriate scale.
