Spectrum Citra is a completely natural product made exclusively from hops. Produced from hop pellets using specialized extraction processes, it contains no additives, solvents, or carriers. This makes Spectrum an excellent alternative to traditional cold hopping methods.

Citra® hops are among the most popular aromatic hops in the world, known for their intense citrus and fruity notes. They impart distinct aromas of grapefruit, lime, and subtle tropical fruits to beer. Ideal for APA, IPA, and NEIPA styles.

Usage and Effects:
Spectrum Citra does not contain iso-alpha acids, but like hop pellets, it contains non-isomerized alpha acids. At high doses or when added late, it can increase bitterness, especially in hazy beers.

Flavor Profile:
Spectrum Citra delivers pronounced notes of grapefruit, lime, and tropical fruits. Perfect for hoppy beers such as APA, IPA, and NEIPA, adding a fresh, citrusy character.

Dosage:
Best used during cold hopping, ideally during (secondary) fermentation.

• Replacement ratio: 20 g of Spectrum can replace up to 160 g of T90 hop pellets.

• Recommended dose: Do not exceed 1 g/l of Spectrum.

Preparation:
Bring Spectrum to room temperature and mix thoroughly before use. Dissolve in a small amount of water or wort prior to adding to beer.

Storage:

• Temperature: Store between 2–15 °C.

• Shelf life: Use within 12 months. Avoid lower temperatures to prevent crystallization.

• After opening: Store in a way that prevents air exposure and use within 1 month.
