Wheat malt from Viking Malt is a high-quality base malt made from carefully selected wheat. It is characterized by a light color (3–5 EBC), a delicate, bready aroma, and a high content of proteins and enzymes that support the mashing process.

It is ideal for wheat beers (Hefeweizen, Witbier), but also works well as an addition to other styles, adding smoothness, body, and improving head retention. It can make up to 50% of the grist (or even more in traditional wheat beers).
